Sculpting the Human Form: Connecting Art +Science

Welcome to the World Congress on Liposuction 2017 taking place at the Inter Continental Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel and registering for the Cosmetic Surgeon’s Sculpting workshop. This full day session shall entail a basic introduction to sculpting in clay as related to the construction of the human figure. At the end of the class, you shall carry away a uniqueartistic perspective and an inspiring piece of art to display and continue to learn from.

The sculpting workshop will require a small amount of preparation on your behalf to optimize your personal experience.

Recommendations include:

• Wear relaxed clothing that can be soiled (e.g. scrubs, T-shirts, jeans or leisure wear).
• Surgical loupes or reading glasses (we will be sculpting off a 12 inch armature).
• Durable large shoe box with shipping packing (for you to transport and protect your work of art on the travel home).
• Packaging tape
• Note taking materials.
• Hand wipes.
• Equipment: sculpting tools forthis workshop will be provided, but those who personally own such equipment are encouraged to bring.
• Pocket or small paring knife (please be sure to not carry onto the airplane)
• Snacks and water.
