Sculpting for Surgeons: Clay + Cadaver
Understand aesthetic anatomy and harmony, and improve surgical planning to achieve optimal surgical results.
Sculpting for Surgeons is designed for physicians, surgeons and allied medical professionals who work in the fields of beauty, cosmetic, plastic or reconstructive surgery. During this intensive course, you will strengthen your observational and tactile skills while enhancing your knowledge of anatomy, aesthetics, form and function.
Each workshop addresses specific areas of the body to deepen your understanding of the human form, dichotomy, gender specifics and balance to allow you to better plan for every treatment or surgery you offer in your practice.
Throughout the workshop, you will learn about line, proportion, canons, contour, shape, definition and volumetric proportions. This knowledge is then taken to the cadaver lab, integrating current surgical technology with an attuned artistic eye.
Upon completion of Sculpting for Surgeons, you will be able to apply a new perspective and expanded understanding of aesthetic anatomy into your treatment plans to create true aesthetic harmony, balance and natural-looking results in your patients' treatments and surgeries.
